Meet Our Coaches
Karim Ibrahim
Head Squash ProfessionalKarim, a former US Junior Open Champion and #2 ranked junior in Egypt, hails from the Wadi Degla Squash Club in Cairo. He has represented the Egyptian Junior National Team and helped lead the junior squash program at his home club for two seasons. Karim attended St. George's in Newport, RI and was a key player on the St. Lawrence University Men's Squash team, where he was a team captain and named a CSA First Team All-American. He currently coaches and manages his younger brother Youssef Ibrahim, who is ranked 35th on the PSA World Tour.
Charles Loesch-Quintin
Squash ProfessionalCharles Loesch-Quintin is a Philadelphia native who grew up playing at Germantown Cricket Club. He played on the US Junior circuit and later captained the squash team at Amherst College. After returning to Amherst as an Assistant Coach, he served as Squash Director at StreetSquash in Harlem, NY for two years. Currently, Charles is a student in Temple's Doctorate Program for Physical Therapy.
Freddy Hernandez
Squash ProfessionalFreddy's experience in squash includes playing as a junior and in college at Franklin and Marshall. He also worked as an assistant squash professional under Manek Mathur at the Racquet and Tennis Club in the summer of 2019 and served as the Director of Squash at CitySquash Brooklyn during the 2019-2020 season.
Margot Prow
Squash ProfessionalMargot is a Level 2 qualified coach and professional squash player from England who moved to Philadelphia in 2020 to study and play for Drexel University's Women's Squash Team. When not representing Drexel, Margot also competes on the PSA World Tour, reaching her highest world ranking of 100.
With over 5 years of coaching experience, Margot is skilled in leading group beginner lessons and intermediate junior clinics, as well as providing one-on-one coaching to both children and adults. She is particularly passionate about engaging women and girls in sports and promoting the benefits of squash through her engaging coaching style.
Private Lessons
We provide private and semi-private squash lessons to both members and non-members. These lessons are suitable for individuals who wish to learn the basics, refine their technique, or advance their gameplay. For further information, please contact squashpro@spectercenter.org
