The Arlen Specter US Squash Center opened in the historic State Armory Building in 2021 as a result of a dynamic partnership between Drexel University and US Squash. The Specter Center is the home for Team USA and hosts numerous national and international championship events. Most importantly, it serves as a community squash center that provides access and lifelong engagement in squash and fosters a diverse community rooted in shared values. US Squash traces its roots to Philadelphia as first squash governing body in the world in 1904.
Headquartering US Squash in the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in the heart of the Drexel University campus represents a return to those roots and builds upon its strong partnership with Drexel, proud host since 2011 of the U.S. Open Squash Championships at the University’s Kline & Specter Squash Center.
You Belong
“You Belong” represents the Specter Center’s vision of ensuring everyone is able to enhance their health and well-being through squash. As the world’s largest community squash center, all are welcome here.
