The Arlen Specter US Squash Center is proud to announce that its junior squash program has been honored with the LOVE Award for Best Youth Sports Program by Philadelphia Family, a segment of Family Focus Media. The Love Awards have celebrated businesses and nonprofits in the Philadelphia area beloved by members of the Main Line community since 2013.
“It is an honor for our junior squash program to receive this award,” said Olivia Taylor, Squash Pro and Head of Junior Programming. “As head of junior programming, it’s especially rewarding to see the growth in the junior program and the positive impact it has on young people across the Philadelphia community.”
All LOVE award submissions are reviewed by an all-women board of local parents and winners were recognized at an awards dinner.
“Receiving the LOVE Award for Best Youth Programming is a tremendous honor,” said Kimbley Lightner, Vice President of Facility Operations. “This award reflects the strength of our community and the dedication of everyone who steps onto our courts. Together, we’ve created an environment where young people can develop not only as athletes, but as confident, resilient and engaged members of the community.”
This award highlights the Center’s ongoing mission to make squash accessible, inclusive and impactful for the next generation of players.
